Raymond Bender spoke about the Palomar Airport expansion. Gave City Council a letter. Asked for an agenda item regarding CUP 172 and the County regarding the airport. 100,000 passengers a year at Carlsbad airport. city at crossroads. number could jusm to a million or 2 million once the runway is extended or city consents to use of that airport by any carrier handling large airplanes, city has lost control. not just a question of wether the project goes forward but what mitigation measures can be done.
