Elaina Crabtree came forward and introduced herself. Kathryn LohmanCarlsbad Princess came forward and introduced herself. Skyler Blankenship, Natasha, Tina Lee, student at Carlsbad High School Caitlin Clark, senior at Carlsbad High School.
Proclamation presentation in recognition of Sister City Committee.
Mayor Pro Tem Kulchin presented a proclamation recognizing and honoring the Carlsbad Sister City Committee to Jaquie Thye, Chair of the Sister City Committee.
Jaquie Thye Presdient of Carlsbad Sister City Ambasadors, nonprofit organization, introduced committee members. Committee looks forward to continue student exchange and establishing business relationships with our sister cities.
Volunteer Coordinator Sue Irey recognized the two corporations who donated to the CityStuff Program of the City.
Jessica Jones, representing Poseidon Resources, Inc. thanked Council.
Allison Tartar, Chief Financial Officer from Toyota and Lexus Carlsbad thanked Council and stated they were happy to sponsor this program.

Walt Meier of Carlsbad came forward to address Council. Thanked Council for allowing him to sit on workshop regarding RV parking session. Doesn't think Carlsbad went far enough on parking issue, would like to see a permit parking overnight for RVs. Concerned about speeding at Frost and Cannon, residents in area would like to see speed bumps installed in the area.

Walt Meier came forward to speak. STated it would be advantageous if the city required certain trees that would not uproot concrete, distrub the streets and need a minimum amount of pruning. Could bring down costs.

Vince Lombardi of Carlsbad came forward to address Council. Mr. Lombardi stated he was concerned about the height of the wires from one of the canyons near where the development will be built. Concerned that the area will become blighted because of the large, low wires in the area. housing units are out of cinc with the beauty of the streets on Caurina Court. Out of cinc architecturally. concerned about the cost to develop the area. Palm tree farm hid the blight in the area.
Mr. Henthorn came forward to rebute Mr. Lombardi's statements. Addressed the easement stated that all the areas have coordinated with SDG&E to ensure adequate separation. No need to move to height the towers, etc.
Council Member Blackburn asked about the streets - private owned? - henthorn - yes.

Walt Meier of Carlsbad came forward to address Council. Thanked Council for allowing him to sit on workshop regarding RV parking session. Doesn't think Carlsbad went far enough on parking issue, would like to see a permit parking overnight for RVs. Concerned about speeding at Frost and Cannon, residents in area would like to see speed bumps installed in the area.

Vince Lombardi of Carlsbad came forward to address Council. Mr. Lombardi stated he was concerned about the height of the wires from one of the canyons near where the development will be built. Concerned that the area will become blighted because of the large, low wires in the area. housing units are out of cinc with the beauty of the streets on Caurina Court. Out of cinc architecturally. concerned about the cost to develop the area. Palm tree farm hid the blight in the area.
Mr. Henthorn came forward to rebute Mr. Lombardi's statements. Addressed the easement stated that all the areas have coordinated with SDG&E to ensure adequate separation. No need to move to height the towers, etc.
