Mr Neil Turner addressed the council expressing his concern about 'serious crimes'
Walt Meier addressed the Council with a proposed addendum to the building code of Carlsbad.
He requested that Council set codes to our standards of excellence.
Lowes needs landscaping to soften the hardscape of their building
Mr. Gary Nance addressed the Council regarding the 2008 election.
And the candidates Obama and Biden were constitutionally qualified for the Executive Branch.
In conformance with the Brown Act, no Council action can occur on items presented during Public Comment. A total of 15 minutes is provided so members of the public can address the Council on items that are not listed on the Agenda. Speakers are limited to three (3) minutes each. If you desire to speak during Public Comment, fill out a SPEAKER CARD and place it in the clear tray on the wall adjacent to the Deputy City Clerk. To consider submitting a Charter Amendment to the qualified voters of Carlsbad regarding "Retention of Benefits' for safety employees hired after October 4, 2010; and, To consider amending Resolution No. 2010-137 calling and giving notice of a General Municipal Election to be held in the City of Carlsbad on November 2, 2010; and, To consider amending Resolution No. 2010-138 requesting the San Diego County Board of Supervisors consolidate the Carlsbad General Municipal Election with the Statewide General Election on November 2, 2010; and, To consider authorizing certain Council Members to file a written agreement; and, To consider directing the City Attorney to prepare an impartial analysis of the ballot measure; and, To consider providing for the filing of rebuttal arguments. Resolution Nos. 2010-201, 2010-202, 2010-203, 2010-204 and 2010-205. ACTION:
