1. GENERAL PLAN UPDATE WORKSHOP - Planning Division staff will provide the commission with an overview of the new draft General Plan. The overview will include the purpose of the General Plan, the process that led to the draft General Plan (Envision Carlsbad), the structure of the draft General Plan (based on the Carlsbad Community Vision), highlights of each element (what's new, important topics, etc.) and the next steps, public review and the hearing process.
