CDP 10-06/SUP 10-01 - CARLSBAD BOULEVARD RIPRAP EXTENSION
- Request for approval of a post emergency Coastal Development Permit and a Special Use Permit to: 1) install additional riprap along an approximately 280-foot long, 35-foot wide and 15-foot high (11-feet above grade and 4-feet below grade) section of shoreline for slope protection; 2) relocate a section of 6 inch sewer force main; and 3) construct a protective steel casing over an existing 48 inch diameter sewer outfall pipeline within the City's Coastal Zone located on southbound Carlsbad Boulevard, approximately 0.7 mile south of Palomar Airport Road and 1 mile north of Poinsettia Lane, within Local Facilities Management Zone 22. - Request for approval of a post emergency Coastal Development Permit to 1) demolish an existing sewer lift station, located at the north end of North Ponto Day Use parking lot; 2) construct a new sewer lift station, located at the north end of South Carlsbad State Beach campground; 3) abandon in place approximately 1,300 feet of 6 inch sewer force main pipe; and 4) install approximately 345 feet of 6 inch sewer force main from the new sewer lift station eastward to tie into an existing City of Carlsbad sewer manhole located on Surfside Lane, within the City's Coastal Zone located on southbound Carlsbad Boulevard and Surfside Lane, just north of Island Way, within Local Facilities Management Zone 22.
