Commissioner Nygaard inquired about the letter from Vista Pacifica and the color of the roof tiles. Should comply with the HOA. Commissioner Siekmann asked about the height allowed. 35 feet. proposed is 26 feet. Commissioner Dominguez stated the existing lots are close, tight. Mr. Fisher stated it is a small lot subdivision. Commissioner Black asked if the homes are spec homes or already sold. Commissioner Siekmann inquired about drainage. GVP stated the slopes will drain to the pad and then out to the street. Won't be an issue during heavy rainfall Commissioner Schumacher asked about the neighbors Commissioner Nygaard asked if there are existing 2 story homes. Mr. Fisher directed the Commissions attention to a slide showing 2 story homes in the subdivision. Jack Henthorn, Henthorn and Associates, PO Box 237 Carlsbad, representing Standard Pacific Homes, gave a brief presentation and stated he would be available to answer any questions. Opened and closed public testimony. DISCUSSION Commissioner Nygaard stated she is happy to support the project. Commissioner Siekmann stated she can support the project. Commissioner Black can support the project. Commissioner Dominguez stated he can also support the project. Commissioner Schumacher agreed with his fellow Commissioners. Chairperson L'Heureux stated that while the architectural style may be different, it is an improvement. He can support the project.
