Bill Hofman with Hofman Planning at 3152 Lionshead Avenue Carlsbad...would like to to speak on behalf of the applicant that he is very happy with recommendation of approval but would like to request a modification to the conditions of approval to allow for the applicant to proceed with construction before the Riley Residence is completed.
Bill Hofman would like to make additional comments on the Commissioners questions of square footage lost....550 sq ft....which will impede 3-4 feet into house
Commissioner Whitton would like to know if an alternative in regards to the string line for construction if Riley residence is constructed after the Moss residence what would the modification be and is there any codes to amend the permits.
Commissioner Montgomery has questions about more clarification to string line......Don Neu answers...
Commissioner Dominguez has follow up question on whether RIley Residence had variance for approval as well...Don states yes
Ted Viola 5019 Tierra Del Oro would like to speak and give his support of Moss Residence and make note that Riley Residence has been abandoned and sold. feels that if string line is amended to revised string line it will start a chain reaction for every other house that will be build along this string line.
Public testimony portion is closed and Bill Hofman would like to address Ted Viola's comments on string lines and abandonment of Riley Residence.
Steven Moss, owner of lot, would like to comment on Ted Viola's comments as well,.....
Commissioner Boddy would like clarification of Ted Viola's comment that there will be a chain reaction for other residents if there is a new string line. Goff answers yes.......
