1. ELECTION OF OFFICERS - Commissioner Montgomery was elected Chairperson and Commissioner Douglas was elected Vice Chairperson.

2. PCD/GPC 08-03 - CUSD LAND SWAP - Request for a Planning Commission Determination of General Plan Consistency for the City acquisition of approximately 17,596 square feet of property and disposition of approximately 15,946 square feet of property, generally located on the Carlsbad High School property (APNs 205-140-25-00, 205-140-28-00) and City Swim Complex (APN 205-140-29-00) property, in the City’s Northwest Quadrant, and within Local Facilities Management Zone 1.

CDP 08-06 - RHOADES MINOR SUBDIVISION - Appeal of a Planning Director decision to approve a Minor Coastal Development Permit to allow for the subdivision of a .42 acre single-family residential lot, zoned R-1-7,500-Q, into two minimum 8,343 square foot single-family residential lots, including one panhandle lot, located on the south side of Triton Street, west of Black Rail Road and south of Poinsettia Lane within the Mello II Segment of the City’s Local Coastal Program and within Local Facilities Management Zone 20.
